XLPE foams are used as insulation and sound absorbing materials in a host of container's designs. It is easy to work in fabricating and thermoforming. XLPE foams are right at home in the building and construction industry where thermal insulation, moisture resistance, sound and vibration are critical. XLPE wire is a single-stranded copper conductor wire that is insulated with hydronic tubing made of cross-linked polyethylene plastic (XLPE). The XLPE insulation has a three-dimensional bond within the plastic. The insulation is a thermoset, zero halogen insulation that provides flame retardant properties.XLPE - Cross-linked polyethylene which is an upgraded version of PE has got good fire resistance properties and can withstand up to 90°C when compared with PE's 75°C.
